About the Museum

Let the Museum introduce itself

About Museum of Tarot

Museum of Tarot (or Bảo Tàng Tarot in Vietnamese), founded in 2016 (will officially open in 2017), is located in Can Tho City, in the south of Vietnam. The museum has three themes: Lithotherapy, Cartomancy and Demonology.

It is combined from six main collections related to Tarology:

Fortune Telling Cards (Tarot and Oracles decks), Historical Books and Documents on Cartomancy, Art of Cardmaking and Decoration of Fortune Telling Cards; Amulets and Talismans and Magical Tools; Lithotherapy Crystals and Charmestones; Demonological and Sacred Books and Haunted Objects.

The museum is established in an ancient noble hotel, called “the citron house”, under the Vietnamese renaissance style. This house is sacrificed for the museum by an old couple of lawyer, Anh Ngo and Duong Ho in 2015.

BBB041:Exploring The Star Card from the Daughters of the Moon Tarot Deck

Moon Tarot Deck

BBB041

The Daughters of the Moon Tarot deck, originally named “The Matriarchal Tarot,” is a unique and inspiring tarot deck designed to celebrate feminism and the power of women. One of the standout and meaningful cards in this deck is The Star.

Design and Meaning of The Star Card

The Star card in the Daughters of the Moon deck is designed with powerful and hopeful imagery. Unlike many traditional tarot decks, The Star here is depicted through symbols and images that emphasize feminist themes.

- **Imagery**: The card typically features a strong woman shining under a starry sky. This woman might be shown in an open posture, receiving light and energy from the universe, symbolizing hope and connection with nature.

- **Symbols**: The surrounding stars represent guidance, hope, and inspiration. Water, often present in The Star card, symbolizes emotions, purification, and renewal.

Message of The Star

The Star card brings a message of hope, healing, and vision. When this card appears in a tarot spread, it often suggests that the reader is on the right path and should continue to have faith in the future.

- **Hope**: The Star is a symbol of hope and faith in the good things to come. It encourages the user to keep believing in the path they have chosen, no matter how challenging it might be.

- **Healing**: This card also represents both physical and spiritual healing. It serves as a reminder that, despite current challenges, cleansing and renewal are always possible.

- **Inspiration**: The Star encourages the user to find inspiration in the small things around them and in their relationships with others.

The Uniqueness of the Daughters of the Moon Deck

The Daughters of the Moon deck is a revolutionary work of art, celebrating feminism and women's strength. The design of each card is rich in symbolism and meaning, encouraging users to connect with their inner power.

This deck, originally named "The Matriarchal Tarot," was created to provide a fresh and powerful perspective on the tarot world, focusing on the strength of femininity and balance in life.

Conclusion

The Star card from the Daughters of the Moon Tarot deck is a powerful symbol of hope, healing, and inspiration. This deck is not only a tool for predicting the future but also a means to explore and celebrate the strength of women in all aspects of life.
