About the Museum

Let the Museum introduce itself

About Museum of Tarot

Museum of Tarot (or Bảo Tàng Tarot in Vietnamese), founded in 2016 (will officially open in 2017), is located in Can Tho City, in the south of Vietnam. The museum has three themes: Lithotherapy, Cartomancy and Demonology.

It is combined from six main collections related to Tarology:

Fortune Telling Cards (Tarot and Oracles decks), Historical Books and Documents on Cartomancy, Art of Cardmaking and Decoration of Fortune Telling Cards; Amulets and Talismans and Magical Tools; Lithotherapy Crystals and Charmestones; Demonological and Sacred Books and Haunted Objects.

The museum is established in an ancient noble hotel, called “the citron house”, under the Vietnamese renaissance style. This house is sacrificed for the museum by an old couple of lawyer, Anh Ngo and Duong Ho in 2015.

“The Clover Tarot: A Lush Journey Through Personal Visions”

In the realm of tarot, where each deck is a unique portal to the subconscious, the Clover Tarot emerges as a vibrant testament to personal vision and artistic depth. Conceived by the Latvian artist Nika Berne, the Clover Tarot is a self-published treasure that offers a window into the creator’s inner world through its lush and vivid illustrations.

This deck extends beyond the traditional 78 cards, featuring 79 with two distinct versions of The Lovers, symbolizing the diverse paths of relationships and emotional connections. Each card in the Clover Tarot is a canvas of rich colors and intricate details, inviting users to a deeper introspection and a more intuitive reading experience.

The Clover Tarot is not just a set of cards; it’s a journey. It beckons the seeker to explore the layers of meaning within each image, to find resonance with the universal themes depicted, and to discover the magic that lies in trusting one’s intuition. With its roots in personal experience, the Clover Tarot stands as a bold statement in the world of divinatory arts, offering a fresh perspective on the traditional tarot narrative.

For those who tread the path of self-discovery, the Clover Tarot serves as a guide, a companion, and a mirror. It reflects the multifaceted nature of our lives, the complex tapestry of our inner landscapes, and the ever-present potential for transformation. In the hands of the reflective soul, the Clover Tarot becomes more than a tool—it becomes a gateway to a world where every choice and every moment is infused with meaning.

BB047: The Jolanda Tarot: Bridging the Magical and the Mundane

THE JOLANDA TAROT

The Jolanda Tarot Deck and the Healing Art of Magic

In the mystical world of Tarot, the Jolanda Tarot deck stands out with its vibrant imagery and profound knowledge. Created by Rosie Björkman and illustrated by Hans Arnold, this deck is not just a tool for divination but also a source of inspiration for those seeking healing and self-understanding.

The accompanying book, “The Healing Art of Magic,” introduces the Tarot cards and also offers meditation exercises to help readers delve deeper into the energy of each card. Each chapter includes magical stories from the author’s personal experience, providing a realistic and insightful look into the magical world.

The Jolanda Tarot deck consists of 78 cards, divided into two main groups: the Major Arcana with 22 cards representing powerful cosmic energies, and the Minor Arcana with four suits: swords, wands, coins, and cups. Each suit has 14 cards, with the addition of a princess alongside the king, queen, and prince, adding uniqueness to the deck.

Tarot is more than a divination tool; it is a symbolic language that opens the door to the treasure trove of our inner memories. By learning to read these symbols, we also learn to decipher the sacred “code of life” in the “book of life” of humanity. The Jolanda Tarot deck invites us to explore deeper into ourselves and the world around us through each card.
