Wildwood Whispers Tarot: Evoking the magic of the wild and the whispers of ancient trees

Ostara Tarot

 BBB081

Ostara Tarot: Dive into the enchanting world of the Ostara Tarot, where traditional Tarot symbols blend with contemporary themes! This stunning 78-card deck, along with its accompanying guidebook, invites you to connect with the wild natural world and explore your feminine intuition. With the Ostara Tarot, you can forge a personal relationship with Mother Earth, express reverence for the world around you, and relish those magical moments when you can once again feel a part of it.

Here are some key features of the Ostara Tarot:

  • 78 Beautifully Illustrated Cards: Each card features silver edges.
  • Color Guidebook: Provides meanings for all the major and minor arcana cards in both upright and reversed positions.
  • Elegantly Designed Box: Compact and adorned with a glossy finish.

The Ostara Tarot is a collaborative creation by four talented artists based in Vancouver, Canada: Molly Applejohn, Eden Cook, Christa Gibbard, and Julia Iredale. These artists met at an art school and quickly discovered their shared interest in mysticism. They embarked on an ambitious mission—to create their own Tarot deck. Each artist contributed their unique style to the project, illustrating a suit and a portion of the Major Arcana. While the Major Arcana draws inspiration from traditional Rider-Waite-Smith imagery, the Minor Arcana offers original interpretations with slightly less RWS symbolism. Notably, each number and court card (except the Queen) in the Minor Arcana is associated with a specific animal, left to the artist’s interpretation. The Queens, however, are the artists’ own designs.

The deck consists of 78 cards: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. The Minor Arcana is divided into four suits—Wands, Coins, Cups, and Swords—each containing 10 numbered cards and 4 court cards (Page, Knight, Queen, and King). The Major Arcana retains the traditional titles and order established by A. E. Waite. While the Major Arcana cards display titles, the Minor Arcana cards feature only numbers, with one-word titles for the Court cards
