AA081:Tarot Ancien de Marseille: History and Significance

Tarot Ancien de Marseille by B.P. Grimaud

AA081

The Tarot Ancien de Marseille by B.P. Grimaud (1973) is a rare deck with only 1500 copies released worldwide. This deck is printed with certain features preserved from the original drawings, evoking a sense of nostalgia and antiquity when used. Initially, the Tarot Ancien de Marseille by B.P. Grimaud was created and printed in the city of Marseille, France, around 1800. The deck is named after the Arnoux & Amphoux publishing house, honoring their contributions to the Tarot tradition at that time. It consists of 78 basic cards and 2 cards describing the deck’s history—one in English and the other in French. If you’re a fan of the Marseille Tarot system, consider acquiring this deck!
