- By bus: the best way to get to Can Tho from Ho Chi Minh City is by bus service. Buses leave daily and hourly from “Ben Xe Mien Tay” (South-West Bus Station) in Ho Chi Minh City on every hour.
The whole journey takes approximately 3-4 hours (depend on traffic & weather conditions), typically includes a 15 minutes break point for food, shopping and toilet breaks. There are 3-4 bus company doing Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh vice versa.

How to know if you have arrive in the City of Can Tho. Before arrival at the Can Tho Bus Terminal, you will notice a gigantic hanging bridge from the Vinh Long province. The bridge spans spans over Hau river and connects Can Tho City and Vinh Long province in the Mekong Delta region in Vietnam.

Upon Arrival at Can Tho Bus Terminal, remember to carry along your belongings, baggage and important documents. Free transfers provided by the bus company are available, remember to ask the bus conductor when they check on your bus ticket.

- By Flight: Travelers may book a domestic flight to Can Tho directly (Tra Noc Airport). It would take 45 minutes to arrival and prices varies around 30-50 USD. Available from Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat Airport).

You can also flight to Can Tho from Hanoi, Da Nang & Phu Quoc island.

From Can Tho Airport or Bus Station to Museum: 

When alighting from the bus, there are many taxi drivers and cyclo to take their service.
